Job summary

City of Indianapolis seeks a Director to oversee the Marion County Family and Youth Intervention Center, a 24/7 facility serving youth with program development, licensing oversight, and partnership with courts and probation. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and grant administration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling or related human service field.
• Four (4) years of supervisory/administrative experience in a child welfare or therapeutic setting, or one (1) year supervisory plus appropriate licensure.
• Ability to lead program development, grant management, and inter-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Family and Youth Intervention Center operations and staff.
• Assist in hiring, training, staff development and performance feedback.
• Assist in securing and maintaining licensing with the Indiana Department of Children’s Services.
• Identify grants and funding resources and manage grant reporting.
• Develop and oversee the center budget and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with courts, probation leadership, and procurement for services and any RFPs.
• Prepare management and ad hoc reports on program status and outcomes.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance of contracted providers.
