Job summary

Our Lady of Victory Pastorate seeks a Director of Religious Education for grades 6–12 to guide parish youth formation and sacramental prep, working with volunteers and families. The role emphasizes catechesis, evangelization, and team leadership to build an active, faith-filled parish community.

The position requires collaboration with the Pastor and Business Manager, budget oversight, and effective communication via bulletin, newsletter, and social media, with occasional evening commitments.

Responsibilities

• Direct the parish religious education for adolescents in grades 6–12.
• Coordinate sacramental preparation for Confirmation.
• Oversee youth group events and catechist volunteers.
• Maintain communication with parents and parishioners.
• Manage class lists, attendance and related office work.
• Collaborate on parish events and summer youth programs.
• Develop relationships with families and support faith formation.
