Qualifications

• A practicing Catholic in good standing with mature faith and public mission.
• At least three years of parish, catechetical, educational, or pastoral ministry experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, liturgy, sacramental preparation, evangelization, and catechesis.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers.
• Experience building relationships with children, parents, clergy, parishioners, and partners.
• Excellent organizational, written communication, public-speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Meet Archdiocesan safe-environment and background-check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic pastoral and administrative leadership for the parish Religious Education program.
• Develop and evaluate catechetical programming aligned with Church teaching.
• Coordinate sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, Confirmation.
• Recruit, screen, train, supervise, and retain catechists and volunteers.
• Oversee calendar, records, facilities needs, supplies, and budget.
• Ensure timely communication via bulletins, email, website, and social media.
• Collaborate with clergy, staff, catechists, families, and Archdiocesan partners.
• Plan registration outreach and special events.
