SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
The Director Wound Care Services provides strategic, operational, and clinical oversight for all wound care services across the health system, including inpatient wound therapy services and the outpatient Wound and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) Clinic. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based wound care delivery, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff development, and program growth. The Director serves as the subject matter expert for wound care and hyperbaric services and works collaboratively with physicians, nursing leadership, ancillary departments, and executive leadership.
Splits work time between an acute care hospital setting and clinic setting, working predominately daytime, weekday hours but may occasionally require long, irregular or flexible work hours for patient rounds, staff rounds, and support of departments. Considerable sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (occasionally in excess of fifty (50) lbs.), pushing objects (e.g., carts, beds). Likely to be exposed blood and body fluids, including infectious diseases. Mental effort to assess, plan and make or recommend decisions in complex environment.
