Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Director, Workday Financials in our Consulting practice to lead strategic Workday Financials initiatives for global clients from the Las Vegas area. The role focuses on ERP optimization, data integrity, and COA/FDM design within complex programmes.

The candidate will manage multi-project engagements, supervise staff, and ensure delivery within scope and budget while strengthening client relationships and adherence to best practices in ERP advisory.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ERP systems implementation and upgrade experience.
• Hands-on Workday Financials experience with FDM and COA design for global deployments.
• Master's degree from an accredited college/university is highly required.
• Active CPA license is desirable.
• Completion of at least three full-lifecycle implementations with Workday Financials.
• Must hold an active Workday Financials Core certification and at least one related Workday certification.
• Proven leadership in ERP programs and ability to manage budgets over $3M.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Workday Financials for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Financials projects involving strategy, implementation support, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimization related to Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Workday applications with FDM and Chart of Accounts design.


• Manage key client relationships, including project delivery, consulting on leading practices, and managing key project deadlines.


• Lead the day-to-day activities of ERP Advisory engagements for various clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.


• Work collaboratively with other leads to cover cross-functional items during the project.


• Work with client counterparts to keep the project on schedule and proactively identify any potential risks that could impact scope, timeline, or budget.


• Supervise and performance manage staff working on assigned engagements.


• Manage engagements according to KPMG's financial/cost management policies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of eight years of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation and upgrade experience.


• Experience must include a minimum of years of continuous, hands-on experience specific to Workday Financials, with experience designing and re-designing complex Financial Data Models (FDM) and charts of accounts for global organizations within the last seven years.


• Master's degree, such as an MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Accountancy, or an equivalent field, from an accredited college/university is highly required.


• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is desirable.


• Completion of at least three full-lifecycle implementations with Workday Financials.


• Must currently hold an active Workday Financials Core certification and at least one related Workday Financials certification or related Workday area certification.


• Proven tenure in programmatic leadership roles, including prior experience holding titles such as Workday Financial Systems & Transformation Lead, ERP Program Lead, Financial Systems Program Lead, ERP Advisory Engagement Manager, ERP Transformation Project Lead, or Strategic Delivery Lead.


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with strong client collaboration skills, experience managing projects with budgets in excess of $3 million preferred, and a detailed understanding of ERP system concepts and functionality.
