Job summary

Kenosha, WI-based Jockey is seeking a Director, Merchandising (Women’s) to lead end-to-end merchandising strategy across channels, driving sales, profitability, and inventory efficiency. The role partners with Design, Planning, and Marketing to deliver a customer-centric product assortment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in merchandising with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role, plus strong analytical, negotiation, and team-building skills to lead a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Merchandising, Buying, or Category Management
• 3-5 years in a senior leadership role at a corporate level
• Exceptional analytical and financial acumen
• Proven ability to develop and execute complex merchandising strategies
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overarching merchandising strategy and financial roadmaps
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform product selection and pricing
• Set seasonal and annual targets for sales, margin, and inventory turnover
• Lead pre-season, in-season, and post-season analyses for continuous improvement
• Manage purchase plans, budgets, and inventory levels to support demand
• Oversee vendor contracts, terms, and pricing and manage supplier partnerships
• Collaborate on promotions, launches, and product presentations across channels
• Lead and develop a high-performing team
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment with Design, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Present updates and strategies to leadership regularly
