ProFound Therapeutics seeks a Director, Program Lead to drive our discovery program in Women’s Health, focusing on preeclampsia and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. The role combines program leadership and hands-on scientific direction, interfacing with senior leadership, Flagship Pioneering, and partners.

The incumbent will set discovery strategy, own the Target Product Profile, and manage cross-functional teams and external collaborations to advance targets through pipeline stages.

Formación

• MD, PhD or equivalent in Physiology, Cell Biology, Reproductive Biology, or related field.
• 12+ years postdoctoral and/or biotech/pharma experience with leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Ownership of a discovery or early development program with strategy defense to leadership.
• Experience building and leading scientific teams and guiding bench scientists.
• Experience owning multi-year budgets with forecasting and spend prioritization.
• Deep understanding of disease mechanisms and translational models.
• Strong publications, patents, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the program strategy and oversee the project team against milestones.
• Direct scientific work in preeclampsia and hypertension models.
• Deliver development of a Preeclampsia AI tool for prioritization of biomarkers and targets.
• Partner with AI/computational biology to apply ML to large datasets.
• Translate experimental results into program decisions and strategy.
• Lead external collaborations with Gates Foundation and partners.
• Finance the long-term program budgets and forecasts.
