Taylor Hopkinson seeks a Director of Procurement for Onshore Wind in the US. The role leads turbine sourcing, TSAs/FSAs, and related O&M contracts, coordinating with Development, Engineering, Investment, and Legal for large renewable projects across the Americas.

The position is remote with ~25% travel to OEM facilities, project sites, and company offices, reporting to the VP Procurement, Americas. Strong negotiation, strategy, and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business or related field.
• 8+ years of procurement experience, renewable energy preferred.
• Hands-on negotiation and management of TSAs and FSAs or O&M for onshore wind.
• History of high-value negotiations with global wind OEMs.
• Ability to set procurement strategy at portfolio or program level; remote work and travel readiness.

Responsabilités

• Lead negotiation and contracting of TSAs and FSAs or O&M agreements with global wind OEMs, including pricing and guarantees.
• Oversee full sourcing for wind turbine generators from RFIs/RFPs through bid assessment and contract award.
• Manage interface between turbine supply and long-term service agreements for warranties and availability guarantees.
• Balance upfront CAPEX against lifetime service costs to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Foster senior relationships with strategic wind OEMs and suppliers for supply security.
• Support procurement of PV modules and BESS and related long-term service agreements.
• Coordinate with Legal, Engineering and Tax on risk allocation and contract interfaces.
• Monitor wind market trends, OEM dynamics, lead times, and pricing benchmarks for leadership insight.
• Identify and manage portfolio procurement risks including delivery risk and supplier concentration.
• Support investment processes including procurement input into FID decisions and materials.
• Act as procurement lead for assigned projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
