Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Director, Wealth Management Engineering to lead multiple teams delivering scalable wealth management platforms. You will craft technology strategies, partner with cross-functional leaders, and drive modernization using cloud-native architectures, automation, and AI-enabled practices.

Lead engineering managers, foster innovation, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a scaled Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive software engineering and technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and large-scale software engineering organizations.
• Experience supporting Wealth Management, Financial Advisory, Brokerage, Custody, Trust Services, or FinTech businesses.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale distributed and highly scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategies aligning with Wealth and Advice business goals.
• Partner with business leaders to develop innovative technology solutions for advisors and clients.
• Shape multi-year roadmaps for platform modernization, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Influence architecture, engineering standards, and technology investments.
