Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Director, Software Development & Engineering to lead Platform Infrastructure & Engineering within AWAT Ops. You will bridge infrastructure, security, DevOps, and automation strategy across cross-functional partners to deliver secure, scalable systems.

As a senior leader, you will drive modernization, governance, and continuous improvement while mentoring teams and aligning with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years in IT with leadership in enterprise infrastructure and operations.
• Experience across on prem and cloud platforms with hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Proven ability to influence security controls and remediation programs.
• Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop & lead platform technology strategy for infrastructure and devops modernization.
• Lead infrastructure lifecycle programs, capacity planning, and DR testing.
• Drive DevOps platform services and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and audit controls.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape strategy and remediation across AWAT.
• Improve deployment pipelines and operational efficiency via automation.
• Deliver value through disciplined, transparent project execution.
• Direct and develop infrastructure, security, and devops teams.
