Job summary

Open Systems Technologies in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Director of Wealth Management Client Analytics to lead analytics across sales, product, and marketing. You will define segmentation, drive distribution strategies, and deliver AI-enabled insights using internal and external data.

The role requires 10+ years in analytics within financial services, strong stakeholder management, and expertise in SQL/Snowflake/Python. On-site, full-time with base compensation in the listed range plus bonus.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence experience in financial services, preferably wealth management.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and impactful solutions.
  • Strong ownership and execution focus in distribution-focused initiatives and client insights.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, AI use cases, and modern analytics infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Data and Technology teams to improve data workflows and architecture.
  • Own end-to-end strategic projects with measurable business impact.
  • Apply expertise in first-party transactions and activity data for insights.
  • Foster data literacy and KPI-driven decision-making across sales.

Job description

Director, Wealth Management Client Analytics

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Compensation: $170-215k base + bonus

Candidates must be local; 5 days onsite per week

US Citizens/GC Holders only

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide actionable analytics to support sales leaders, product managers and marketing leaders
  • Define and evolve client segmentation frameworks across channels, including prioritization models and engagement strategies for sales and marketing teams
  • Identify emerging opportunities to improve distribution effectiveness through data, automation, AI-enabled insights, and advanced analytics
  • Co-own and enhance next best action tools and supporting field enablement resources to improve sales effectiveness and client engagement
  • Conduct complex research and analysis by integrating diverse internal and external data sources; apply appropriate methodologies and deliver clear, actionable insights
  • Contribute to the design and execution of the client master and broader analytics roadmap, identifying opportunities to drive growth and improve commercial outcomes
  • Develop and evaluate audience segmentation, campaign targeting, product commercialization efforts, and execution effectiveness using data-driven approaches
  • Partner with Data and Technology teams to enhance client master data, improve data workflows, and inform scalable data architecture solutions
  • Own and deliver strategic projects end-to-end - from problem definition through solution design and implementation - with clear measurable business impact
  • Apply deep expertise in first-party transactions, asset, opportunity and activity data to generate actionable insights that inform sales and distribution strategies
  • Foster data literacy, transparency, and KPI-driven decision-making across the sales organization
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence within asset management or financial services, with strong preference for wealth management intermediary experience
  • Proven ability to partner with field sales, platform relationship leaders, and portfolio specialists to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and impactful solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies, particularly across model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investment products
  • Strong understanding of wealth management distribution models, advisor channels, and commercialization strategies
  • High ownership, accountability, and execution focus
  • Ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, generative AI use cases, AI-enabled insights, or advanced analytics methodologies is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, cloud data platforms, modern analytics infrastructure, and data governance frameworks strongly preferred
  • Data analytics and storying boarding expertise
  • Deep expertise in client segmentation and operationalization of segmentation
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales enablement ecosystems
  • Proficiency in data analysis and database queries (SQL, Snowflake, AWS, PYTHON)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Deep understanding of data and analytics platforms
