Senior Wealth Advisor / Relationship Manager
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and relationship-driven senior professional to join our Chicago office. This individual will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and overseeing comprehensive investment and wealth management strategies, and driving business development efforts. The role requires significant experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex financial matters.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, strategic, and successful in building long-term client relationships. A proven track record in client acquisition, retention, and advisory services is essential. Travel for client meetings is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and cultivate referral networks to expand the firm's client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Design and implement customized investment and wealth management strategies aligned with clients' objectives.
- Oversee asset allocation, portfolio management, and ongoing monitoring of client portfolios and financial circumstances.
- Collaborate with external advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and other professionals, to deliver integrated wealth planning solutions.
- Contribute thought leadership and strategic recommendations to internal investment and client service discussions.
- Lead and mentor client service teams to ensure a high standard of client experience and execution.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant wealth management, investment advisory, or private client experience.
- Extensive experience serving ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including sourcing, cultivating, and onboarding new client relationships.
- Strong relationship management and consultative advisory skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Deep knowledge of portfolio construction, investment management, and asset allocation principles.
- Broad expertise across wealth management disciplines, including estate and wealth transfer planning, tax-efficient strategies, insurance planning, concentrated stock management, and philanthropic planning.
