Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Director, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to lead the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York and Gettysburg events. You will recruit, coach and manage volunteers, build corporate partnerships and drive revenue growth across multiple Walks.

Based in Lancaster or Harrisburg, PA, the role requires strategic leadership, strong fundraising experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% in the South Central PA territory, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets.
• 1-3 years managing staff and/or volunteers.
• Events management experience, preferably large-scale community events.

Responsibilities

• Build sustainable corporate and community relationships to hit revenue goals.
• Lead volunteers through coaching, recognition, and accountability.
• Implement fundraising programs to meet revenue targets across events.
• Recruit, manage and coach volunteers to achieve fundraising goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team environment and long-term relationships.
• Manage volunteer-led mass-market events and sponsorships.
• Prospect, cultivate and steward teams, sponsors and participants.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and data translation for events.
