Job summary

Harris is seeking a Director of Virtual Construction to lead teams that transform mechanical design and construction through technology, collaboration, and consistent delivery standards. You will develop people, improve BIM and VDC practices, and help project teams deliver coordinated, fabrication-ready solutions.

In this senior role, you’ll shape scalable BIM/VDC processes, collaborate with project leadership, and drive best-in-class virtual construction outcomes across Harris projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in BIM, VDC, or mechanical construction.
• Demonstrated leadership on mid-size to large mechanical construction projects.
• Strong BIM/VDC technical knowledge and design documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% for projects and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead Virtual Construction teams, supervise staff, and drive delivery quality.
• Shape scalable BIM and VDC processes for fabrication and installation of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project leadership, operations, preconstruction, fabrication, sales and marketing to enhance virtual construction support.
