In this role, you will expand our market presence within utility sectors and build strategic partnerships to position our platform for reliable, low-emission baseload generation and grid support.

The Director – Utility Segment reports to the VP of Sales, with responsibility for developing plans, pursuing opportunities, and leading commercial negotiations to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Energy Management or related field.
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• 10+ years selling to electric utilities and energy sector.
• Proven track record in large multi-million-dollar projects.
• Strong understanding of utility procurement, regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic utility sales plans.
• Identify and pursue large utility-scale opportunities.
• Build executive-level relationships with IOUs and co-ops.
• Navigate RFIs, RFPs, and long-term procurement.
• Lead negotiations and close contracts.
• Provide accurate CRM forecasts to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams.
