Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior design leader to define and execute the end-to-end design strategy for its professional developer tools and to oversee user experiences for innovations like Agentforce Vibes. You will manage and grow a world-class DX-focused design team and collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex developer workflows into intuitive tools.

The role requires deep AI fluency, JTBD knowledge, and advanced prototyping skills, with a track record in leading design engineers

Qualifications

• Formal training and professional experience in UX/Product Design and Software Development (degree in HCI/CS or dual career path).
• 10+ years of total experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Developer Tooling
• 5+ years in a direct people management/leadership role overseeing design teams
• 2+ years of hands-on AI fluency with modern AI tools, LLMs, AI coding assistants, or agentic frameworks
• Deep familiarity with developer JTBD, workflows, mental models, and daily toolchains
• Ability to write code to create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to demonstrate UX vision
