Job summary

Princeton University seeks a Director of University Health Services (UHS) to lead an integrated health system serving students and employees across Frist Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, Athletic Medicine, SHARE, and more.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director shapes strategy, drives execution, and partners with campus and external entities to ensure high-quality care and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in healthcare leadership or related field.
• Ten+ years of progressively responsible leadership in healthcare or college health.
• Experience leading complex organizations with multiple governance structures.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for UHS, aligning clinical, administrative, and programmatic functions.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, workforce strategy, and information technology to sustain high-quality services.
• Represent UHS in university leadership, external partnerships, and regulatory engagements.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture among staff and stakeholders.
• Oversee student health plans, safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance across programs.
