Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• 7 years middle market marketing and underwriting experience.
• 3 years management experience of middle market underwriters preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership capability with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Ability to build partnerships and work with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct staff with emphasis on talent management and succession planning in line with the company’s direction.
• Develop action plans and execute the underwriting portfolio strategy.
• Drive team outcomes by monitoring performance and implementing solutions.
• Manage underwriter workloads and staffing to meet objectives and customer needs.
