Job summary

Harrison Gray Search partners with a renowned Boston family office to recruit a Family Office Director who will lead UHNW relationships end to end. You will coordinate across investment, planning, tax and service teams, owning the client relationship with discretion and white-glove execution.

This senior role requires 8–15 years in wealth management and credentials such as Series 65, CFP, CFA, CPA, or JD, with a strong emphasis on judgment and client service.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in wealth management or related field with UHNW/HNW client ownership.
• Deep fluency in estate, trust and tax planning with practical experience.
• Ability to lead credible investment conversations and understand portfolios.
• Bachelor’s degree and Series 65; CFP/CFA/CPA/JD/LLM are preferred.
• High discretion, judgment under pressure and white-glove service.

Responsibilities

• Lead UHNW family relationships, coordinating across the firm's teams.
• Oversee estate, trust and tax coordination with attorneys and CPAs.
• Provide informed investment counsel and oversee portfolio discussions.
• Draft policies, onboard clients, and build reporting infrastructure.
• Ensure seamless client servicing, meeting preparation, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate across Service, Investment and Advisory teams for integrated solutions.
