Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh, NC seeks a Director, US Benefits to lead the design, governance, and cost management of medical, retirement and other benefit programs, with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities include analytics, vendor management, fiduciary oversight, regulatory compliance (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA), and building a high-performing benefits team to support a large, complex organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, or related field.
• 7+ years’ progressive benefits experience including health and welfare and retirement programs.
• 3+ years of people leadership in benefits.
• 1+ years of benefits analytics, population health strategies, and data-driven program design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, administration and improvement of US employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, 401(k)).
• Develop and execute a benefits strategy to improve outcomes and manage long-term costs.
• Oversee benefits analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, FMLA and related regulations.
• Lead vendor strategy, including carrier/consultant relationships and renewals.
• Oversee 401(k) governance and retirement plan administration.
