• Must possess and maintain a license as a Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of transportation project management activities.
• Supervise and manage approximately 12 full-time positions within the Project Management Bureau.
• Oversee the Department’s software to schedule, fund, and track projects from planning through construction letting.
• Represent the Department on the ACEC / Iowa DOT / FHWA Partnering Council and coordinate with division directors, district engineers and bureau directors.
