The Director of Transportation and Carrier Management leads all domestic line haul transportation operations, strategy, and carrier relationship management. The Director of Transportation and Carrier Management is accountable for ensuring safe, scalable, and cost-effective logistics operations while enabling business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational resilience. The Director guides long-range network optimization, capacity planning, and technology strategy. The Director of Transportation and Carrier Management requires visionary leadership and the capability to balance highest level operational execution with strategic planning while building and developing a high-performing and highly-engaged team. A successful candidate is a forward-thinking logistics executive who combines deep operational expertise with strategic vision. They are capable of transforming logistics into a competitive advantage through operational excellence, service level optimization, technology adoption, organization capability building, and disciplined execution of long-term business objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering-related field required.
10-15 years experience in Logistics/Transportation or related field. Retail Logistics experience preferred.
