Job summary

IndyGo seeks a Director of Facilities to lead the operations, maintenance, and safety of all facilities and grounds. You will manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure reliable transit services and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of facilities leadership experience, including supervising managers and union staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in facilities-related field with relevant management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs facilities staff and manages department budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, safety programs, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.
• Develops strategic facilities plans aligned with organizational goals and capital planning processes.
• Partners with senior leadership to ensure facilities support uninterrupted transit operations.
