Qualifications

  • Master’s degree plus two years leadership experience in higher education student success or related field.
  • Doctorate in Education or related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience supervising student success professionals or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing grant-funded programs or initiatives.
  • Experience leading transfer-focused student success initiatives or large-scale reforms.
  • Experience supporting Pell-eligible, first-generation, and economically disadvantaged students.
  • Experience building university partnerships and transfer pathway collaborations.
  • Experience implementing holistic advising or case-management models.
  • Experience with ASAP, Guided Pathways, or similar retention initiatives.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, scaling, and continuous improvement of Transfer ASAP.
  • Oversee integrated high-touch student support services including advising and transfer planning.
  • Supervise Transfer ASAP staff through coaching and performance management.
  • Recruit, enroll, retain, and support Pell-eligible Dallas County students in Transfer ASAP.
  • Ensure proactive case-managed advising supporting persistence and transfer readiness.
  • Collaborate with university partners to support transfer pathway development and priority access initiatives.
  • Coordinate grant administration activities and monitor program metrics and outcomes.
  • Develop processes for scholarship, stipends, and student support resources.
  • Establish relationships across departments to ensure program success.
  • Lead interventions and academic support strategies for at-risk students.
  • Prepare reports and updates for college leadership and grant stakeholders.
  • Participate in committees supporting transfer, retention, and student success.
