Dallas College is seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership for a comprehensive, grant-funded Transfer ASAP initiative. You will guide advising, transfer planning, career support, financial assistance, and student engagement for Pell-eligible students, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with university partners.

The role focuses on scaling a high-touch model grounded in Guided Pathways to improve persistence, degree completion, and successful transfer outcomes across Dallas

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education student success, transfer services, retention, advising, or academic affairs OR a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, implementation, scaling and continuous improvement of Transfer ASAP aligned with Guided Pathways and grant expectations.
  • Oversee integrated, high-touch student support services including advising, transfer planning, career development, tutoring, and financial support administration.
  • Supervise Transfer ASAP staff through coaching, performance management and operational leadership.
  • Coordinate with college departments and university partners to support transfer pathway development and student success initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, budget management, and reporting; monitor program metrics and outcomes.

Education

Master's degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Bachelor's degree + 5 years leadership in higher education
