Job summary

Iambic Therapeutics, Inc hires a Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems to join our growing Human Resources team at our San Diego Headquarters.

Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of compensation, benefits and HR technology platforms, ensuring programs are competitive, scalable, compliant and aligned with our talent strategy and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience with compensation, benefits, and/or HRIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance or related field; CCP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and equity programs.
• Experience managing US benefits programs with brokers and vendors.
• Demonstrated HRIS expertise including implementation, optimization and data governance.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience partnering with senior executives, Finance, Legal, and HR leadership.
• Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience transitioning from a PEO to in-house payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
• Experience in a high-growth biotech/tech/public-company environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation strategy, salary structures, and annual reviews.
• Manage executive, employee and international compensation benchmarking.
• Oversee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement.
• Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment with brokers/vendors.
• Own HRIS strategy and administration, data governance and reporting.
• Establish policies and governance across compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve experience.
• Stay current on market trends and regulatory requirements in this domain.
