Job summary

DCI Donor Services in Nashville, TN seeks a Director of Processing Operations to lead design, implementation, and oversight of all processing functions within the Tissue Bank. The role emphasizes a culture of quality, accountability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate brings 3 years of tissue banking leadership, a related Bachelor’s degree (CTBS preferred), and a proven track record in planning, staffing, safety, and on-time delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3 years of tissue banking leadership experience required.
• CTBS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR requirements.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all processing-related operations, headcount, and schedules to meet customer demands and on-time delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day processing operations including production planning, staffing, and equipment/facilities oversight.
• Ensure safety and compliance across the processing department and foster accountability for high quality and standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction of final product quality and on-time delivery.
• Mentor the processing leadership team and monitor growth and development plans.
• Assist Sr. Director of Operations with annual processing operations budget preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
