Job summary

Florida Capital Bank is seeking a Director of Third-Party Risk Management to lead onboarding, offboarding and ongoing risk oversight for Fintech and payment vendors within Specialty Banking. The role ensures due diligence, regulatory compliance, and performance oversight while aligning with risk appetite and policy.

The position coordinates SME activities across the organization, develops dashboards, and steers risk rating reviews to support safe, sustainable growth in a dynamic payments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field; or equivalent experience including 10 years in banking risk/compliance/vendor management.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience overseeing third-party risk, Fintech partnerships, or regulatory risk management fintech and payment programs.
• Experience interacting with regulators, executive management, and board-level committees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end risk management methodologies for all FPTPs and/or critical vendors, including remediation planning/issue management and risk scorecards.
• Establish project management oversight for due diligence, onboarding, forward obligations, periodic reviews and general process management for FPTPs and critical vendors.
• Participate in the development of the TPRM dashboard and other reporting for Specialty Banking.
• Oversee critical vendor management and annual risk assessments and performance reviews for FPTPs and vendors.
• Establish and manage SLAs including contract terms and renewal monitoring.
• Lead quarterly reviews of FPTP risk ratings, financial performance, and controls environment.
• Maintain inventory of active, pending, and terminated third-party relationships with owners and risk data.
• Support remediation planning and issue management for third‑party deficiencies with action plans and escalation.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
