Job summary

NEON seeks a Director of Exhibitor Relations to manage and grow relationships with major theater circuits and leading exhibitors nationwide. The role drives in-theater market campaigns, premieres, and promotions, collaborating across marketing, design, and delivery to execute creatively and effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in exhibitor relations, studio relations, or a related field.
  • Established relationships within the theatrical exhibition community preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-profile partnerships and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and resourcefulness.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven entertainment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing, Design and Delivery to obtain trailer deliverables and assets for in-theater and digital exhibition.
  • Maintain relationships and manage theatrical accounts to build direct media programs and on-site promotional opportunities; pitch concepts, negotiate budgets, and manage programs.
  • Manage one-sheet printing and budgeting, and coordinate with fulfillment shipping house
  • Collaborate on trailer placement strategies and sharing trailer requests/reports
  • Collaborate on in-theater signage/standee strategy, liaising with vendors and overseeing production and installation
  • Manage special screenings for NEON releases
  • Coordinate with theaters for events, securing talent entry, microphones, chairs, screens, sound, and projection
  • Attend screenings in-person to ensure smooth events with on-site NEON representation
  • Manage relationships with premium format partners (IMAX, Dolby, Barco, D-Box) for promotions and assets
  • Oversee weekly exhibitor relations blasts
  • Develop presentations and campaign decks using Keynote/PowerPoint
  • Build/update campaign calendars, tracking docs, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Publicity, International and Digital teams for cohesive campaigns
  • Monitor box office, market trends, audience behavior, and competitive releases to inform strategy
  • Provide leadership with updates on exhibitor engagement and campaign effectiveness
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, screenings and conferences
  • Mentor and manage coordinators and managers as applicable
