Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management for Shared Platform Engineering in San Jose, CA. You will lead complex, cross-functional technical programs and translate priorities into actionable plans while aligning with R&D objectives.

This hybrid role reports to the EVP, Chief Security Officer. The candidate must bring 12+ years in technical program management, strong Agile/Scrum experience, and deep knowledge of API platforms and Java/Spring.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in technical program management and leadership of large-scale initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience with Agile/Scrum and influencing engineering teams and executives.
Strong knowledge of API platforms and Java/Spring framework.

Responsibilities

Lead the definition, planning, and delivery of cross-functional technical programs.
Track support tickets, deployment progress, and telemetry to improve customer health metrics.
Set interlocks, timelines, and workflows for platform engineering OKRs.
Design and refine program management processes and tools for efficiency.
Coordinate dependencies and communicate status to executives.
