Alcoa in Pittsburgh seeks an in-house technical accounting leader to drive complex financial issues and strategic transactions. You will partner with Finance, Strategy, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Commercial teams to influence global decisions and ensure SEC reporting readiness.
The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, CPA credential, and 12+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and external reporting in a manufacturing environment. Hybrid/remote options available.

About the role: Join Alcoa’s Corporate Controllership team in a high‑impact leadership role with visibility to senior executives and influence across a global organization. As an in‑house technical accounting subject matter expert, you’ll lead complex accounting initiatives, support strategic transactions including M&A and divestitures, and partner with leaders across Finance, Strategy, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Commercial teams. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical accounting expertise, strategic problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership while helping shape key business decisions at one of the world’s leading aluminum companies.
