AVANGRID MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC. seeks a Director of Tax Planning, Audits & Risk Management to lead federal and state tax planning initiatives, support corporate development and transactions, and guide the tax staff.

You will direct activities, ensure GAAP/IFRS alignment, and optimize tax outcomes. You will coordinate transfer pricing, tax provision reporting, and regulatory updates, while developing talent and aligning tax strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication of complex tax matters to executives and global teams.
• Experience leading multi-phase tax projects and SEC disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead representative transactions: mergers, acquisitions, or dispositions.
• Oversee renewables investments (wind and solar) and major bids.
• Lead and coordinate tax audits with staff in income or non-income tax operations.
• Maintain and enhance tax models for planning and valuation outcomes.
• Coordinate monitoring of tax legislation and regulatory developments.
