Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Director of Talent Engine to lead the strategy, build-out, and operations of a scalable talent capability for Data & AI engagements. This role partners with HR, Delivery, Engineering, and BU leaders to deploy a Rackspace-wide operator workforce and create a sustainable sourcing and certification model.

The leader will drive merit-based pathways, academy design, and certification standards, aligning with Palantir’s ecosystem where possible while building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in talent strategy, workforce development, or technical staffing leadership.
• 3+ years building a training or certification program from scratch.
• Experience designing multi-pathway hiring programs at scale (early-career, non-traditional, graduate).
• Working knowledge of technical delivery models in cloud, data, or AI environments.
• Experience partnering with or operating alongside a customer or partner organization on shared standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build three merit-based pathways into the program (high-school, non-graduate, graduate).
• Define merit bar and manage sourcing volume, pipeline yield, and cost-per-hire targets.
• Train through an academy taking hires from foundations to production-ready skills in weeks.
• Establish certification as the quality bar for deployment and drive certification to standards.
• Forecast demand, plan cohorts, and deploy certified FDEs into diverse environments.
• Serve as operating point for Palantir FDE program leadership on hiring, training and deployment.
