Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Director of Infection Prevention to oversee the Community Hospital, Behavioral Health and Continuing Care IP programs and to support expansion of a system-wide program. The role reports to the Executive Director, System Infection Prevention and leads regional infection preventionists and medical directors.

The position develops standardized in-house training, standardizes education across units, and guides outbreak management, surveillance and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in related fields.
• Infection Control Certification required; RN license preferred.
• 5–8 years of infection prevention experience; health system/tertiary care preferred.
• Familiar with NHSN, CMS, state/local reporting requirements and regulations.
• Experience with education delivery and staff training programs.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain system-wide infection prevention education materials.
• Standardize training for novice to expert infection preventionists.
• Lead education needs assessment across the organization and units.
• Provide direction on outbreak management, surveillance, and reporting.
• Collaborate with system leaders and local programs to implement best practices.
