Job summary

Catholic Health in New York State is seeking a senior leader to manage the Infection Prevention and Control Program across sites. You will oversee budgeting, staffing priorities, and ensure adherence to external standards and agencies to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in surveillance, education, and prevention of infections across the organization.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in a health-related field.
• Current NYS professional license as applicable by degree.
• Current Certification in Infection Control or eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Infection Prevention and Control program for Catholic Health with matrix oversight across ministries.
• Budgeting and staffing prioritization to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA and other standards.
• Create a safe environment through prevention and risk-reduction interventions.
• Lead activities in case finding, surveillance, reporting, education and recommendations.
