Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a SVG Director of Supply Chain Operations in the Dallas area. You will coordinate daily materials management, purchasing, and inventory for Surgery Ventures Centers, promoting standardization and contract compliance across centers.

You will lead staff, optimize procurement processes, and drive cost reductions while ensuring patient care standards, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration with center Administrators and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, or healthcare focus.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years leadership experience; 2–3 years hospital/surgery center experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility material management activities for assigned Surgery Ventures Centers.
• Implement standardization programs for all material management functions and PAR files.
• Assist with labeling and setup of OR supplies, SKU reduction, and PAR file creation for new facilities.
• Coordinate market-based purchasing projects with DCRD, SCO, VPO and CRD.
• Manage addition of new items, perform cost analysis, ensure contract compliance, and reduce SKUs.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply issues and improvement opportunities.
• Standardize products and optimize supply utilization through collaboration with CRD, Administrator, Physicians, Clinicians, and vendors.
• Coordinate, manage, and evaluate facility Supply Chain personnel.
