Job summary

Vizient seeks an experienced consultant to lead complex Surgical Services and PPI engagements, delivering measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. You will guide engagements from discovery through implementation, synthesizing data and influencing executive decisions while mentoring more junior staff and advancing Vizient's consulting solutions.

You will collaborate with senior healthcare leaders, define scope, governance, and roadmaps, and develop business cases to drive cost

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant consulting experience.
Service line management experience in surgical services or perioperative departments.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
Ability to analyze financial, operational, and quality data for performance improvement.
Strong communication and facilitation for executive-level clients.

Responsibilities

Lead complex Surgical Services and PPI consulting engagements from discovery through implementation.
Plan and oversee analytic work integrating clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain data.
Develop evidence-based strategies and business cases to improve costs and quality.
Design implementation roadmaps and change management approaches.
Mentor less experienced consultants.
Build trusted senior-level client relationships.
Guide sustainable adoption of Vizient tools and resources.
