Job summary

A healthcare organization just outside Tyler, TX is seeking a Director of Surgical Services. This role will lead the department's activities to meet organizational objectives and requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a Master's preferred. Two years of leadership experience and a Texas RN License are essential. The organization provides a full range of services with over 70 physicians and is highly committed to patient care.

Just outside Tyler, TX

Our client serves approximately 100,000 people, providing 150 beds with a highly skilled staff of healthcare professionals. A full range of comprehensive care is offered including the latest in diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Approximately 500 employees and 40 volunteers work closely with the medical staff, which includes over 70 physicians representing 28 different medical specialties.

The Director will lead the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Required
• Master's Degree Preferred

Required Skills:

• Two years of leadership experience Required.
• Texas RN License or eligible Required.
• CNOR Preferred.
