Job Description

Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Sales

Location: Remote USA + Travel

For more than 25 years, Asurion has been a leader in innovation, not only in the tech solutions industry, but in creating a culture where employees feel valued.

We help people do more with their technology and stay connected on all of their devices. We provide our customers with simple, helpful advice to get the most from their technology, assistance to fix technology issues, and protection of their devices to ensure they quickly receive a replacement or repair if something goes wrong.

What You Will Be Doing

The Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Sales is a business development leadership role for a strategic operator who understands how value is created, recovered, and monetized across the device ecosystem. This role drives growth by navigating complex secondary‑market dynamics, leveraging Asurion’s advanced technical and supply chain capabilities, and translating insight into differentiated commercial partnerships.

Success in this role comes from combining strong commercial instincts with ecosystem fluency, systems thinking, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams to deliver unique, market‑relevant solutions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Drive business development by identifying, shaping, and advancing opportunities informed by a deep understanding of the device value chain and secondary‑market dynamics.
  • Identify adjacencies and expansion opportunities in related markets, including channel partners (major VARs), enterprise, government, and healthcare.
  • Navigate complex ecosystem dynamics— including device flows, participant roles in the value chain, auctions, resale channels, grading standards, and buyer behavior—to inform opportunity design and positioning.
  • Translate Asurion’s advanced technical and supply chain capabilities into differentiated, executable value propositions through close partnership with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
  • Develop, deepen, and expand relationships with OEMs, carriers, partners, and secondary‑market participants to strengthen existing partnerships and expand Asurion’s role and market share within the ecosystem.
  • Listen deeply to existing and prospective clients to identify unmet needs and market gaps and work cross‑functionally to design and commercialize differentiated solutions that strengthen partnerships and drive growth.
  • Partner across Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to advance opportunities, support pipeline needs, and contribute to client pitches and RFPs.
Here’s What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles requiring navigation of complex ecosystems and long‑cycle deals.
  • Strong understanding of the device value chain and secondary‑market dynamics, including how products move through multiple downstream channels.
  • Ability to leverage technical and supply chain knowledge to design commercially viable, differentiated solutions.
  • Demonstrated success influencing internal stakeholders and partners without formal authority.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance commercial objectives with operational reality.
  • Existing industry relationships that can be leveraged to accelerate growth.
  • Strong executive presence and storytelling skills across technical, operational, and commercial audiences.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, supply chain services, client services, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related discipline.
