Serena & Lily, a leading home furnishings brand, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Analytics will lead the analytics function supporting Serena & Lily's international supply chain, distribution operations, and final mile delivery network. Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain, this leader will build reporting, and advanced analytics capabilities that drive smarter decisions across ocean freight, customs, DC throughput, and last-mile customer delivery.
This is a high-visibility, hands-on leadership role partnering across the supply chain to translate data into measurable improvements in cost, speed, and service. The Director will serve as the analytics thought partner to the SVP and broader leadership team and will help shape how Serena & Lily makes decisions in an increasingly complex global supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the supply chain analytics strategy aligned to enterprise priorities for cost, speed, and customer experience.
- Serve as the primary analytics thought partner to the SVP of Supply Chain and senior leadership.
- Champion a data-driven culture and embed analytical rigor into operational decision-making across the supply chain organization.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Lead analytics for international transportation including ocean freight, drayage, customs clearance, and inbound logistics — transit performance, dwell times, and carrier scorecards.
- Develop final mile and white-glove delivery analytics covering on-time performance, damage and exception rates, and cost-per-delivery.
- Develop dashboards and analytics for the Savannah Distribution Center measuring throughput, labor productivity, cube utilization, slotting effectiveness, dock-to-stock, and order fulfillment cycle time.
- Support capacity planning, labor forecasting, and seasonal staffing models for the DC.
- Travel quarterly to Savannah to embed with operations, validate data integrity at the source, and drive on-the-ground execution of analytics initiatives.
- Establish governance for supply chain KPIs and maintain a single source of truth for operational reporting.
- Evaluate and recommend new analytical tools, vendors, and capabilities that accelerate the function's maturity.
- Travel: Occasional travel to Serena & Lily Distribution Center, Savannah, GA; occasional travel to vendor partners, ports, and other supply chain locations
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, or a closely related field, with at least 3 years leading and developing teams.
- Demonstrated expertise across transportation/logistics, DC operations, and cost analytics — ideally within retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands handling oversized or specialty goods.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL and modern BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience working with TMS, WMS, ERP, and OMS data sources.
- Experience working with AI – Claude.
- Strong understanding of international logistics — ocean freight, customs, drayage, ports, and customs brokerage.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical analysis into clear business recommendations for executive audiences.
- A builder's mindset — comfortable operating at both the strategic and hands-on levels in a scaling organization.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect analytics to P&L outcomes.
- Influence and partnership skills to drive change across functions you do not directly manage.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Business, or related field.
- Ability to travel to the Savannah, GA Distribution Center on a quarterly basis.
Preferred
- Experience in home furnishings, big-and-bulky, or specialty retail.
- Experience standing up or scaling an analytics function within a growth-stage retailer.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and modern data stack tooling.

Compensation
- $150-170k per year is the anticipated target base pay for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.
