Jewish Family Service LA (JFSLA) is seeking an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and results-driven Director of the Subscription Meal Program to launch and grow a mission-driven, for-profit meal subscription business built on the expertise, proven success, and infrastructure of JFSLA’s existing senior meal production program and commercial kitchen. The venture will provide high-quality, nutritious meals to the community while generating sustainable profits to support JFSLA’s nonprofit senior meals services. Reporting to CEO and working closely with JFSLA’s CFO, the Director will lead all aspects of the business, including strategy, operations, business development, marketing, financial performance, customer experience, partnerships, team development, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in for-profit food service production, marketing and/or business operations, a demonstrated ability to achieve year-over-year revenue growth and profitability, and the creativity and ambition required to build a successful enterprise from the ground up. This individual must also be an effective team builder with exceptional leadership and people skills who can balance entrepreneurial drive and decisive execution with collaboration, shared accountability, and alignment with JFSLA’s mission, culture, and organizational priorities.
