DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Director of Subcontracts Management to transform our Subcontracts capability from transactional to strategic, delivering on EHS, quality, cost, and schedule commitments. This role is based at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters with a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Supply Chain organization.

You will lead a field‑savvy, high‑performing team, shape the Subcontracts vision, and establish partnerships with subcontractors to optimize

Qualifications

• Construction experience in civil, electrical, structural, and/or heavy industrial construction or EPC environments.
• Experience leading subcontracts, including selection, negotiation, and execution of MSAs and project-level agreements.
• Experience managing subcontractor performance, change orders, and claims or dispute resolution on active projects.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Experience reading, writing, and negotiating multi-year contracts and pricing arrangements.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the Subcontracts vision and actions to engage stakeholders as a strategic partner.
• Build and lead a high-performing subcontracts team; define roles, provide feedback, and manage performance.
• Identify talent gaps early and build bench to scale with the portfolio.
• Establish preferred partnerships with subcontractors to create competitive advantage.
• Lead disciplined subcontractor selection based on EHS, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Apply field-tested construction judgment to scope, means and methods, sequencing and productivity.
• Drive accountability for subcontractor performance and manage change orders through upfront contracting and documentation.
• Develop measures and use data to guide decisions.
