Job summary
Palomar College invites applications for the Director, Student Health Services at the San Marcos campus. The role provides leadership, planning, and evaluation of the SHS department, administers budgets, develops policies, and ensures advanced nursing care and crisis intervention as needed.
The position requires a Master’s in nursing with California Public Health Nurse Certificate, a Bachelor’s in nursing and a Master’s in health education or related field.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing and California Public Health Nurse Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, California Public Health Nurse certificate, and a Master’s degree in health education, sociology, psychology, counseling, health care administration, public health, or community health.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate the Student Health Services department.
- Develop annual budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Administer non-profit center operations and contracts.
- Coordinate health education programs and community health outreach.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidential records.
