Job Description

Job Summary

The Director, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, is a vital member of the Strategy team. This role supports senior executives in developing corporate, business unit, and local strategies, as well as leading strategic initiatives to transform the organization.

Job Duties

• Develops enterprise and domain-specific strategies to promote growth, ensure compliance, and enhance performance within current business units.
• Leads high-priority projects to identify growth opportunities and transform Molina’s operating model.
• Conducts rigorous analysis to support market opportunity, membership, and financial forecasting.
• Keeps abreast of healthcare trends and generates insights on national and local markets.
• Collaborates extensively with the company's executive leadership team to support strategic initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Master's Degree or higher.

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• At least 3+ years in strategic management consulting or investment banking with managed healthcare experience.
• Understanding of drivers and strategies across managed care organizations and broad healthcare industry knowledge.
• Experience in strategy development, research, synthesis, and creating actionable plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Effective collaboration with leaders, experts, and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience aligned with the job duties.
