Job description

Job Title: Strategy Manager

The role, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, is a key member of the Strategy team supporting senior executives in developing corporate, business unit, and local strategies, as well as driving strategic initiatives to transform the Company.

Job Duties

1. Develop enterprise and domain-specific strategies to promote growth, ensure compliance, and enhance performance within current business units.
2. Lead high-priority projects aimed at unlocking growth opportunities and transforming Molina's operating model.
3. Conduct rigorous analysis to support market opportunity assessments, membership forecasts, and financial projections.
4. Stay informed on healthcare trends and generate insights at national and local market levels.
5. Collaborate extensively with the Company's executive leadership team to support strategic initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Master's Degree or an equivalent advanced degree.

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities

• At least 3+ years of experience in strategic management consulting or investment banking, with prior managed healthcare experience.
• Understanding of drivers and strategies across functions in managed care organizations (MCOs), with broad healthcare industry knowledge.
• Experience in strategy development, capable of framing challenges, conducting research, synthesizing information, and creating actionable plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong intellectual agility with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business leaders, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen.

Preferred Experience, Skills & Abilities

• At least 10 years of relevant experience aligned with job duties.
