Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher in Honolulu seeks a Director to drive select strategic projects, guide the strategic planning process, provide actionable market intelligence, and align corporate resources with strategic plans.

You will partner with strategy leaders and executives, develop frameworks, oversee analytical execution, and mentor the planning team, with travel under 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic credentials.
• 5+ years’ experience with quantitative analysis.
• Advanced level with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Less than 20% travel.
• Familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs.

Responsibilities

• Aid in directing Gallagher Bassett's strategic planning process, working in partnership with the strategy leader, company executives and business leaders across the organization.
• Drive gathering and maintaining actionable market and competitive intelligence to inform the process, serving as a source of thought leadership and innovative ideas, and overseeing alignment of corporate resources with strategic plans.
• Formulate strategic communications to senior leadership and key external stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate strategic proposals and alternatives for consideration.
• Aid in preparation of strategic planning document for use by GB leadership together with a summary for presentation to the Arthur J Gallagher board.
• Aid in recruiting and developing staff members of strategic planning team.
• Develop and maintain frameworks to guide key decisions.
• Own execution on analysis projects commissioned by GB business units and staff functions.
