We are seeking a Director of Strategic Programs PMO to lead a portfolio of high-impact operational programs that drive manufacturing growth, capability expansion, operational excellence, and business transformation.
This role is responsible for overseeing complex initiatives including product transfers, technology transfers, manufacturing capability transfers, equipment relocations, and strategic operational improvement programs. The successful candidate will be a highly execution-oriented leader with strong program management expertise and experience operating in multi-site manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of strategic manufacturing and operational programs.
- Direct site-to-site product transfers and manufacturing capability transfers.
- Manage equipment relocation and factory transfer initiatives.
- Drive manufacturing readiness activities associated with transfer and expansion programs.
- Establish program governance, reporting structures, execution plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
- Coordinate activities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Lead strategic operational initiatives focused on business growth, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance and execution capabilities.
- Monitor program health, remove barriers, and elevate critical risks when necessary.
- Develop and mentor a globally distributed team of program management professionals.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive program management, operations, or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs within manufacturing environments.
- Proven success managing product transfers, technology transfers, factory transfers, or operational transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing readiness and operational execution.
- Experience managing program portfolios and executive-level reporting.
- Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.
Preferred
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
- Experience leading multi-site programs and global operational initiatives.
- Certification in project or program management.
