Summary

Smart Communications is looking for a talented Director of Strategic Partners – Financial Services with great energy and initiative to fill a strategic role on the partner team. This role is critical as partners are essential to support our corporate growth objectives. Financial Services is currently the #2 vertical across our business, and we are looking for a strong partner leader to get us to the next level.

You will be responsible for working with existing partners and more so recruiting new alliance and channel partners specifically in the Financial Services industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies with partners that accelerate revenue for both the partner and Smart Communications.

Through development of a comprehensive joint business plan with clear priorities and growth targets for each partner, you will provide our business with the opportunity to scale faster. A passion for being entrepreneurial coupled to a strong execution bias are critical facets for this role.

Smart Communications changes the way companies engage with their customers, empowering business users to drive personalized communications to an organization’s customers. Smart Communications is transforming the customer experience with our Conversation Cloud platform including data capture capabilities via adaptive Interviews, interactive and on-demand communications across all channels, workflow orchestration across digital channels as well as integration to common core systems and analytics across the platform.

We enable highly personalized, two-way conversations with customers and citizens at scale for major organizations primarily in the Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, and Government Sectors.

Our innovative SaaS offering, Smart Communications, delivers new levels of personalization, context, and compliance with the lowest cost of ownership in the Customer Communications Management industry. The Smart Communications cloud platform leverages the latest and most contemporary technological approaches.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the strategic relationship with partners within the Financial Services industry – globally.
  • Designing and executing GTM plans which will include development of joint solutions, sales training/education, and pipeline generation.
  • Managing partner relationship to maximize revenue and to ensure partner commitment.
  • Managing C-level relationships with partner executives.
  • Initiating joint account planning and strategy sessions liaising with regional sales leads.

Key Deliverables:

  • Build pipeline through Alliances and Channel partner relationships.
  • Recruitment of Alliances partners (system integration companies) who will include SmartComms in their technology offerings.
  • Recruitment of Channel partners (core system technology and Managed Services companies – specifically in support of Banking and Wealth Management).
  • Creating and running a complete partner lifecycle including on-boarding, training, managing inbound enquiries, demonstration systems, branding, co-marketing, events, and channel conflict management.
  • Creating all necessary go-to-market plans, messages, and materials to drive success for the partnership with support from marketing.
What we’re looking for:
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building partnerships and associated revenue in a high growth organization.
  • Experience with creating differentiated and successful partner account management plans and relationships with partners with core system vendors (ISV’s) and SI’s.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive significant increase in revenue through partnerships.
  • Ability to create credible business cases highlighting revenue growth opportunities.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business.
  • Good knowledge of Smart Communications (or similar CCM solutions) technology and applications products/solutions, platform, and SaaS.
  • Ability to build and manage C-level business relationships.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
