Overview

The Director, Strategic Operations, is responsible for establishing and operating the execution rhythm that aligns Product & Technology strategy with consistent, enterprise-level delivery. This role designs and runs planning cadences, portfolio governance, and delivery systems that enable transparency, accountability, and value realization. The Director serves as both a strategic operations leader and a hands-on delivery leader, owning the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), quarterly planning cycles, executive delivery interfaces, and delivery accountability for at least one Tier-1 strategic initiative with C-suite visibility.

Responsibilities
  • Design and operate quarterly roadmap planning cycles across Product & Technology
  • Establish and maintain executive publishing cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Lead PDLC rollout, define stage gates, deliverables, and quality criteria
  • Coach teams on PDLC practices and continuously refine based on feedback
  • Maintain enterprise portfolio visibility, dependencies, and capacity
  • Facilitate prioritization and trade-off decision using clear frameworks
  • Track and communicate portfolio-level flow metrics and systemic risks
  • Partner with Finance on investment tracking and ROI validation
  • Own delivery of at least one Tier-1 strategic initiative with executive reporting
  • Integrate AI and automation initiatives into planning and delivery rhythms
  • Prepare and support executive meetings related to delivery and execution
  • Mentor Delivery Managers and serve as a culture carrier for delivery excellence
Educational And Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment
