Job summary

Dream Finders Homes seeks a Director of Land Acquisition in Bluffton, SC to identify, evaluate, and prioritize land opportunities that align with divisional goals and market data. You will lead negotiations, manage entitlements, and coordinate with senior leadership to package proposals for corporate approval.

You will analyze market trends, build relationships with landowners and partners, and guide teams to minimize risk while maximizing ROI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Minimum 7 years proven land experience in acquisition, contract negotiation and relationship building.
Home building or related construction/real estate industry preferred.
Exceptional communication skills -- both written and verbal.
Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners.
Strong attention to detail; strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate and prioritize land opportunities aligned with divisional goals.
Lead land negotiations and manage entitlement processes.
Prepare proformas and land packages for corporate approval.
Collaborate with senior leadership and business partners.
Mitigate risk and maximize ROI.
